Why Hillary's footdragging on releasing the TRANSCRIPTS is concerning

Simply because, it's being talked about around the world!!!

Her emails along with the transcripts show, she is one of the least transparent politicians ever.

That, is why it is so concerning.

The IRS has Bernie's taxes....don't you worry about that. Again, the IRS has the Sanders taxes over the years.

No one but secretive Hillary, has her transcripts.

Hillary, release them now. The people (less your supporters) demand it.

Do you want to be made a fool of. She is asking you to vote for her. Don't you want to know she is not saying one thing to you and saying something completely different to Goldman Sachs? If so - she's making a fool of you. Your defending her and yet you don't know if she is being straight with you.

Don't you think that she needs to release those transcripts to prove that she is not jerking your chain?

If she doesn't release them one can assume that she is trying to hide something that she doesn't want you to find out.

That's not being very trustworthy. So how could you justify giving your precious vote to her?

American's have died to give you that precious 'Right To Vote' - all I'm asking you is to not squander it without being sure that you are not being taken advantage of.

Don't go into this with blind faith. Trust, but Verify.

That's all I'm trying to do as I may be in a position to vote for Hillary myself.

Tue Apr 12, 2016, 12:29 PM
Apr 2016

Why would people pay to hear someone talk, when they can just read the transcripts? Basically, Sanders is upset that he was never popular enough to be paid to give speeches. This is not something involving 'transparency' as there is no precedent, moral or ethical standard where anyone ever has released private event transcripts.

I think you are confusing this with politicians releasing their tax returns. Oh yeah, has Sanders released his yet?

who didn't give paid speeches. (And it's not because of some 'holier than thou' stance, if he was popular enough he would have readily taken paid gigs, even - just as Hillary did - to give the money to charity.) As soon as the GE starts, it's a non-issue. Besides, why would anyone give in to an opponent that they are beating?

I would bet my bottom dollar that as soon as Sanders is out of this race, he will start giving paid speeches - now that he is a more well-known public figure.

64. Can a taxpayer sue Clinton for release of those speeches?
Tue Apr 12, 2016, 02:03 PM
Apr 2016

Can a tax payer sue Clinton for release of those speeches to Goldman-Sachs? If Goldman-Sachs tax deducted those speeches as an "expense", then it would be interesting to find out if a regular taxpayer has "standing" to sue. This would be based on the "regular" taxpayer paying more in taxes or getting less in services because of the lost revenue to the government due to the $675,000 tax deduction.

This situation is why she stands at between 57% and 59% disapproval rate. Her lack of perceived "honesty" makes her a VERY flawed candidate. Frankly, if she were to get elected, if Republicans retain control of the Senate and House, they will file impeachment charges on day one, and there will a transaction by transaction investigations of her and Bill's speeches, their "foundation" and ties to decisions made while she was Secretary of State such as the Swiss bank UBS situation.

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/07/hillary-helps-a-bankand-then-it-pays-bill-15-million-in-speaking-fees/400067/

The bottom line is there are too many risks for her getting elected let alone being allowed to govern due in large part to the and Bill's actions. Is it true they registered corporations in Delaware? If they did, the only reason one does that unless they live in Delaware is to evade and/or avoid something.
