(3,040 posts)... Since many other heads of state and representatives from other countries are going, we should since he will be representing the US at the event.

He's earned the right to attend this conference and as the next president of the United States, it will serve him and millions/billions of people around the globe well, having much-needed attention paid to the life and death implications of global poverty and inequality.
Probably will cost a lot less than even one drone strike, I'd imagine.
