5. A whore is a by Merriams Dictionary definition, a man or woman who sells sex for funds."

Frankly it's a job, kind of like plumbers, It can be a shitty job but it pays well....

Frankly I don't think I have, doesn't mean I haven't but don't recall using that word to describe a political morally corrupt individual...

Frankly not all whores are morally corrupt and it is a service, so the word is not all that useful when describing certain horrific human beings...mostly that can be found in political arenas, media arenas, as well as religious ones....

Point is, its not the word needed to convey just how ugly they are as human beings....

For writers, to blurb or not to blurb can be a tricky matter. … Blurb too often, or include too many blurbs on your book, and you might get called a blurb whore. —Rachel Donadio, New York Times Book Review, 17 Aug. 2008

I find that acceptable. Whining about someone out of ours, or Bernie's control, using the word whore, referring to a money hungry sellout, is not acceptable.

4. Depends on context. Candidate rally? No. Just bad judgment to use.

Unless you intend to create a "story" that distracts from what matters, you don't use Media Whore or Corporate Whore or whatever, at a candidate's rally.

Poor judgment.

But only because the noise machine will try to turn it into a "big story."

I don't think many who hear about it would be genuinely outraged.

And those who fain outrage are unlikely to ever support Bernie anyway.

Paul Song apologized -- undoubtedly wishes he hadn't used in the context. Shit happens.

One is a name calling slur, the other is just bidness.

11. I personally, do not use that terminology. I also don't go looking to be offended by words alone.

I do not like someone trying to put me on the defensive by automatically being offensive. Childish P/A tactics.

just my opinion.
