Sanders is an astute politician. When there is outrage, faux or real, he apologizes. Unlike your candidate and her surrogates who 'wish they could apologize' but do not.

Whore = Person who sells their virtue.
Corporate Whore = Provides Specificity, it is the type. Lessens the catch-all phrase, and is more appropriate.

Much like, a corporate whore is a whore, while not all whores are corporate whores.

There are varying degrees.

Like, a kitten is a cat, while not all cats are kittens.

Stating that, I am not fond of the term, and I hope the guy does apologize for using that term.

Even if I am not ok with this, there really is a difference between those two negatives. It does not excuse his usage, but please get the term right.
