Sanders Ad to Run Opposite Clinton Fundraiser

https://berniesanders.com/press-release/sanders-ad-run-opposite-clinton-fundraiser/

"BURLINGTON, Vt. – Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign on Friday released a new ad that will run this weekend in California during Secretary Hillary Clinton’s high dollar fundraisers in the state.

The Sanders ad, called “$27,” focuses on the average contribution to the senator’s grassroots campaign. Clinton is asking donors to raise $353,400 to get a seat next to her at the head table during two California fundraisers.

“If you can’t afford to attend tonight’s event with Secretary Clinton, we invite you to join Bernie’s fundraiser for the low price of turning on your television,” said Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager.

Sanders’ spot, his first in the state, will run tonight in San Francisco and tomorrow in Los Angeles at approximately 8pm PST, just as Secretary Clinton’s wealthy donors are sitting down for dinner."

How will he help other Dems get elected?

He hangs onto that money like a junk yard dog. He is out spending Hillary about 2 to 1 in NY and still can't get close to her in the polls.

It may be only $27 but he berns through it like crap through a goose in a losing cause.

Bernie isn't much of a realist is he. I have for years now said that if we can't give money to cops (for whatever reason) why should we be able to give politicians money? It's insane. Of course now we are stuck in that rut. There is simply no way to achieve Bernie's goal, unless, of course, we get ALL money out of politics. As Jeff Goldblum (Malcom in "Jurassic Park&quot says, "Life, er, greed will find a way."

and so on.

The Koch bros do not pay for the cops on the streets. The taxpayers do.

That was an example of giving money to someone would be an open invitation to corruption. I don't care what money he was referring to, one shouldn't be allowed to give money to politicians (in my view).
