Bernie Sanders AD TO RUN Opposite Hillary Clinton Fundraiser

PRESS RELEASE

Sanders Ad to Run Opposite Clinton Fundraiser

APRIL 15TH, 2016

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign on Friday released a new ad that will run this weekend in California during Secretary Hillary Clinton’s high dollar fundraisers in the state.

The Sanders ad, called “$27,” focuses on the average contribution to the senator’s grassroots campaign. Clinton is asking donors to raise $353,400 to get a seat next to her at the head table during two California fundraisers.

“If you can’t afford to attend tonight’s event with Secretary Clinton, we invite you to join Bernie’s fundraiser for the low price of turning on your television,” said Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager.

Sanders’ spot, his first in the state, will run tonight in San Francisco and tomorrow in Los Angeles at approximately 8pm PST, just as Secretary Clinton’s wealthy donors are sitting down for dinner.

and Bernie is showing everyone how it's done.

You don't have to take money from Wall Street, Big Oil, pharmaceutical companies, the for-profit prison system, defense contractors or other powerful special interests.

This is a corrupt, sick system. And it needs to end.

I applaud Bernie for daring to do something different and for fueling his campaign on donations from "We The People" and not "We the Corporations Who Will Return Real Soon to Demand the Piece of U.S. government That We Purchased From You During Your Corrupt Campaign."

To buy legislation. To protect your absurdly big piece of the pie. To have a piece of real pie. With the Clooneys. And Hillary Clinton.
