The op states "I'm confused" and we find the op entirely correct on that point. However the op goes on to imply that Sanders 'ambushed' the pope, and we find that a ridiculous pile of horseshit.

All in all, given that the op has admitted that the op is generally confused about things, we score this "partially correct".

“This morning as I was leaving, Senator Sanders was there,” Francis said. “He knew I was coming out at that time, and he had the kindness to greet me.”

“When I came down, he introduced himself, I greeted him with a handshake, and nothing more,” the pope added. “It’s common courtesy, this is called common courtesy.

“If someone thinks that greeting someone is getting involved in politics,” he said, “I recommend that they find a psychiatrist.”

The Pope specifically said Bernie greeted him out of kindness, for you to interpret that as the Pope saying he was ambushed shows you have zero credibility.

... and as a brief and passing courtesy, he shook his hand, exchanged pleasantries (Hello. Nice to meet you. Hello, nice to meet you too) and the Pontiff with his Papal Entourage headed out the door.

Any other description you hear, or any other words that cleverly imply or suggest that Bernie had a "private audience" with the Pope are questionable.

As more information begins to trickle out, it seems to me that Bernie's summit with the Pope is not as significant has his campaign is making it out to be. (What is significant, however is that the initial reports and descriptions were lacking in the details and accuracy and context that we're not beginning to see. Why is that?)

Go, Hillary! We love you!
