Bernie got invited to speak at a conference at the Vatican about creating a more moral economy- something he's been passionate about for decades. He had a brief meeting/exchange with The Pope. Hillary supporters are the ones making this such a huge deal. It was a nice moment. You just look silly making it out to be something nefarious or to imply Bernie exaggerated about this. He was clearly honored, but never exaggerated about it.

To the Pope, however—well, even the word “meeting” seems to overstate how he saw their encounter. He made a point of clarifying that the handshake and pleasantries they exchanged should not be seen as a political endorsement.

“This morning when I was leaving, Senator Sanders was there,” he told reporters in Italian aboard the papal airliner today, after his visit to the refugee-filled Greek island of Lesbos. “He knew I was leaving at that time and he had the courtesy to greet me. I greeted him, his wife, and another couple who were there and were sleeping in Santa Martha. This is called good manners and it is not getting involved in politics.”

they are both saying the SAME FUCKING THING!

is this battle coming down to the semantics between the words "meet" and "greet"? you can't shake a persons hand and greet them without a meeting. and you can't greet a person without exchanging some kind of pleasantries. are we going to start fucking arguing whether or not it was actually 3 minutes vs 5 minutes now?

the fuck kind of world did i wake up in this morning?!?!?!
