Why I'm not supporting Hillary Rodham Clinton

Here's my expanded version of why she will not get my vote in the primary.

...

Hillary was paid heavily for speeches to the same institutions who crashed the economy with their hedge fund schemes and toxic mortgage-backed securities.

Her son-in-law worked 8 years in the hedge fund industry at Goldman Sachs before starting his own hedge fund group into which the Goldman Sachs CEO is invested.

http://mobile.nytimes.com/2015/03/23/business/dealbook/for-clintons-a-hedge-fund-in-the-family.html

And her campaign manager John Podesta (Group) handles PR (public relations) for billions of dollars in arms sales to the Saudis from such big players like Lockheed Martin.
You know Saudi Arabia?... the country responsible for 9/11?
Well the John Podesta Group is essentially a go-between that helps Saudi Arabia with their image to further sales growth in weaponry, etc.

In Latin America her support for coup regimes, militarization, and privatization; trade deals that wreak economic havoc, all of which have resulted in death.

"Hillary has nothing to brag about: Her foreign policy record is a disaster"

http://www.salon.com/2016/01/23/there_is_no_foreign_policy_d_league_hillarys_foreign_policy_disastrous_experience_partner/

She has waffled mightily regarding the potentially disastrous Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal (TPP).

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2015/oct/08/hillary-clinton/hillary-clinton-now-opposes-trans-pacific-partners/

She was for fracking and the Keystone XL pipeline before she told us she isn't.

"Hillary Clinton's State Department Sold Fracking to the World"
http://m.motherjones.com/environment/2014/09/hillary-clinton-fracking-shale-state-department-chevron

She is a recent convert to supporting same sex marriage after a decade of opposing it.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2015/jun/17/hillary-clinton/hillary-clinton-change-position-same-sex-marriage/

Look...the military industrial banking complex is powerful and they want her at the helm.
The .1%'s gravy train must be protected in their view.

Bottom line...The powers that be are much more comfortable with her as President rather than Bernie.

which is what created GATS Mode Four.

Which is a huge promise to the developing countries, especially that we will trade them jobs (by privatizing large parts of the public sector and then globalizing their procurement)

in exchange for them privatizing their services, like education, health insurance, water, etc. This along with deregulation, eliminating rules and laws which are framed as non tariff barriers, is called "liberalisation".

Mode Four is part of WTO Services deal- signed in 1994- a potentially huge global scheme to liberalize services so that corporations can move their workers around at will, which has no necessity tests like H1-B (instead they use L-1 non-immigrant visas) and equalize wages.

• In developed countries, most of the gains for capitalists are balanced by losses to native workers.

are what drove me from the democratic party and why I have only voted for the democratic candidate twice in my life. Dukakis in 1988 and Gore in 2000.

If god for bid Hillary gets the nomination, I will be forced to follow that pattern.

I agree with some of the things you posted, but I also think she has a lot of positive qualities. I just think Bernie is so much more authentic and uncorrupted and idealistic and courageous. But I don't hate Hillary, and I will support her if she gets the nomination, which I concede is likely at this point. That said, I want everyone to get the chance to vote and have their vote matter. I am grateful to have had that rare opportunity in New York.

is that it will embolden the corporate wing of the Democratic Party to use their money and power to crush the progressive wing of the party.

I would rather suffer through 4 years of a GOP nightmare and emerge with a unified, truly progressive party that kicks ass in 2020 than spend the next 8 years watching Hillary triangulate DLC-style while the rich and powerful corporate entities within the DNC exterminate the progressive movement that has been gaining ground inside the party for the past 2 decades.

I just don't see HRC doing anything that will benefit the poor and working class. Wall Street will call the shots, and those of us on the Left will be told to sit down, STFU, and do as we are told. And there remains the possibility that her email scandal could result in indictments and possible impeachment proceedings if she were to win. It's just a hot mess, and it's even more frustrating since it's almost entirely of her own doing.

Ok, end of rant. You are obviously free to do whatever you like, and I would love to be proven wrong if HRC won the nomination and the general election. I don't WANT bad things to happen, I'm just convinced they will happen if she's sworn in as POTUS. I don't like her and I don't trust her. She's in bed with forces that I absolutely abhor, and that's a deal breaker for me.

Ok, now for real end of rant...
