Fox News Poll VA: Romney 47 Obama 45

I know it's Fox News polls but they have had Obama in the lead on many occassions. Are there any other recent polls out there with Obama in the lead in VA?

It shows that VA is still close, which disproves the narrative that Romney has it wrapped up there.

And from what I can tell, isn't Obama's favorability in VA at 54% according to this Fox poll?

They're obviously trying to create a narrative that Romney is winning there.

How can they just so obviously exclude a poll like that?

The Fox News Poll is conducted under the joint direction of Anderson Robbins Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). The poll was conducted by telephone with live interviewers

October 23-24, 2012, among a random sample of 1,203 Virginia registered voters (RV).

A subsample of 1,126 has been defined as likely voters (LV), with a margin of error of ± 3 percentage points.

Landline and cell phone telephone numbers were randomly selected for inclusion in the survey using a probability proportionate to size method, which means that phone numbers are proportionally representative of all regions across the state of Virginia.

Results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error of ± 3 percentage points.
