(978 posts)That Hillary will never have:
The Indy's that establishment minions are now trying their best to alienate.
Wonder why 18% would never vote for Bernie. Because he is a jew? Because he's an atheist? Because he only wants minimum wages at 15$ an hour as opposed to the "REAL hike" at 12$ an hour? Because he wants equality under the law for everyone, supports unions and doesn't take money from Wall Street?

(4,465 posts)You have to ask?
Maybe because they are pissed he's suing Democrats? Maybe because they don't like him implying she is dishonest or has something to hide re the speeches? Maybe they think he's a bum for calling her " unqualified" ?
The list could go on.....

(6,342 posts)We are supposed to just line up and give her the nomination. Anyone questioning her policies, ideas, or qualifications is pure misogyny.

(978 posts)What were those lawsuits about and what relevance does these alleged lawsuits have to do with the average voter (unless they have been purged by DNC operatives)?
So Hillary gets a free pass, and Bernie all the blame when it's WAPO who's been doing the false reporting while she DID question whether he was qualified or not. If that is their major issue, I wonder if too many people have been living in homes with too much led in it...
If Hillary being dishonest (which she is) is another issue for them to vote for Hillary, they must be completely blind or suffer from collective cognitive dissonance.
Bernie never did a dirty campaign. Hillary went sleazy right out of the gate, having her surrogates smear Bernie's civil rights record, getting John Lewis to throw all his principles out the window to throw him under the bus, insinuating that Bernie only resonates with white racists and sexists. The false accusations have been flying from the Hillary camp, and they only seem invigorated from their juvenile smears only to whine like crybabies, acting like victims when their own dishonesty have been exposed.
Hillary has been dirty since 2008.
Or even before that. She went dirty against the exact voting block who got her husband in office - the AA community with her racially charged "super predator" label of powerless black kids about to get their future robbed from them because...Super predators.
But if you don't see the same tactics used today against Bernie as she used against Obama, I wonder about some people's judgment. Hillary supporters have nothing to complain about regarding any truth factor. Every time I look into the Hill ry group, I get a new experience in dishonesty and smear turned into a cult practice.
Perhaps some people just can't get enough of Clinton's in Office and secretly dream of an American style royalty where the position will be in the family?
Why do people need two from the same family running the country on two different occasions?
Do people have poor imagination?
Political royalty is basically despised or feared around the world.

Fine. You don't get it.

(978 posts)the faux outrage and crickets on the real issues regarding her own blatant corruption then?
I wasn't aware that there was so many democrats who are more like republican lite being busy creating fake scandals to cover up their own dirty game.
One thing is for sure, yours and Hillary's attitudes are sure to lose in the future. Why? Because it's time that the democratic party went back to it's principles rather than selling out the party soul for a check from a banker who would be in prison if he did the same thing in Iceland.

(36,063 posts)I've seen the numbers for Bernie-or-Bust range from 11% to 33%
If 18% was the equivalent of 33% of Sanders supporters you would be correct.
but
If 18% is actually somewhere between 11% and 33%, lets say 22% for the sake of argument, then that would be great news for Sanders.
Do you have a recent reliable estimate for BOB type voters among Dem affiliated voters in NY? I think that's the number we need to interpret the exit poll

(2,565 posts)But that is besides the point of the title of the OP, which is ONLY talking about the behavior of those democrats.
13% won't vote for Clinton, 18% won't vote for Sanders, but that is 13% of 29% and 18% of 29%... in short, very small numbers.
The real question they need to ask is HOW MANY INDEPENDENTS won't vote for Clinton or Sanders.
Of course we know the answer, so we know why Clinton will not be president.
pnwmom
(108,994 posts)Far fewer people participate in caucuses than in primaries because they are so much less inclusive.
I'm not surprised 13% said they wouldn't vote for Clinton. What surprised me is that , in the exit polls, 20% identified themselves as Independent. Some Democrats.

(2,565 posts)Political parties.. like religions, are on their way out.
Bernie wins OPEN primaries. Clinton has had to rely on voter suppression.

(1,947 posts)from trying and probably succeeding on a small scale.
But it appears to me that Clinton benefited from Republican voter suppression. Most of the states she has won have been in states whose Republican governors signed up for Checkpoint, now a 25-state consortium to maximize their efforts at voter suppression with a much larger database. Most of the states Bernie has won are not Checkpoint states.

(108,994 posts)For example, in the second level Nevada caucuses, there were many more Bernie supporters than were supposed to be there. But no one was checking their credentials at the door. And who was the head of the credentials committee? A Bernie supporter, who had already pulled stunts like copying Bernie people in on private email exchanges with Hillary delegates.

(17,064 posts)42% of registered voters and growing, while Dem registrations have steadily declined. Heckuva job, Turd Way!
I guess in a decade the Dems will be 12% of registered voters, still be clam morning for closed primaries for purity's sake, and still thinking people won't vote for them because the party isn't RW enough.

(34,119 posts)I know exactly one Democrat who voted for Bernie who says he will vote for Hillary even though he absolutely loathes her. Everyone else who is working for Bernie and friends of mine are not going to cast that vote. I would be surprised if the percent is not closer to 30%+.
Frankly, most people who love Bernie know he will say and do that but are not influenced at all by what someone else wants them to do and that includes Bernie.
