I guess she'll get to have her party tonight.

I don't believe a fucking thing from either the MSM or the Hillary Campaign ...

(1,065 posts)They won as of now today, and this is the kind of party they want. We won't give up though right?

(1,976 posts)Will the people ever wake up?
Dems who were allowed to vote love wall street and TPP.

(1,065 posts)Don't take your anger out on them. Put yourself in their shoes.
They want a party like this. Which is fine. We don't which is equally fine.
We need to learn to accept that the party is divided right now, because it is.

(14,915 posts)its time to start acknowledging that the party is leaving the left behind. We either go with them, or we start supporting another party.
At the end of the day though, none of that takes anything away from the victory in New York today.

(1,065 posts)I'm a first time voter okay. A party is supposed to be unified, but the candidates are too bipolar.
We have to accept that at this point, and consider our options. By the way, Bernie still has enough chance to make Hillary sweat, so don't worry.
Just let them enjoy their victory. We live to fight another day.

(30,524 posts)Even the Empire State Building is celebrating. It's bright blue right now in her honor (that's what CNN said). I can see it from where I live. It was red a while ago when Trump won.

(30,524 posts)I'm sorry, my friend, but I think that you will have to say it a few more times. She's looking very good in PA, MD, NJ, up 6% in CT and even CA.

(12,011 posts)At the time, I lived near Washington Square Park, where you could see the Empire State Building, so we went to the park to see it. Then we ended up going to Times Square at 1 AM to join the crowd and watch Obama's victory speech. Good times.
I think one thing a lot of Clinton and Sanders supporters agree on is that we'd vote to give Obama a third term if we could.
Beacool
(30,524 posts)I forgotten that it went blue for Obama too. That sounds like a fond memory.

(740 posts)And my apologies for my gloating brothers and sisters.
I won't gloat, myself, because, while I like winning, my stupid empathy hates seeing someone lose.
I feel like there are too many commas in that sentence.
