and the cold harsh train of reality came and smacked him in the face.

Deep down inside, Bernie knows he can't win. His last chance was a Michigan-like upset in NY. Deep down, he knew it wasn't going to happen... but desperately wanted it to happen. But... it didn't.

It essentially ended any slim chance he had.

Also he'd been putting out that they'd do well for weeks.

He's going to have to change his campaign goals, if I were him, I'd stop soliciting donations. I would feel bad taking money from people when he will not win.

This loss must hurt a lot.

Because, believe me, I don't like feeling that this is not a legitimate win or that something untoward happened.

I could handle a 15, 20 point loss--if the exit polling was close to the actual result. Bernie had plenty of losses, much bigger than this, and either the exit polls or the expectation fit with the result.

This does not. Something seems off.

Exit polls, 4 percent. Loss 15 points.

And are intended for demographic analysis after the race, not to be used as the end all or be all when first reported. I'll start a new thread with the recalibrated exit poll so you can see how much it has moved since 9:00.

showed a very tight race. Bernie said tonight, while he was in PA--that his campaign was going to do well tonight in NY.

Then, the exit polls showed Hillary winning by 4.

Then, we see an end results that looks like a 15 point loss.

I think they realize that some kind of cheating happened.

I'd be upset too.
