Why would I? Pasta with meatballs? Potato salad? Risotto? Seafood salad? Those are all pretty ordinary meals fancified to make them sound better than they are.If it was lobster and caviar, i might feel differently but at the end of the day the airline mm makes the menu decisions. Are you saying you wanted him to airline shop until he found one with a suitably plebian menu? Because I still think you'd have found s reason to call him a hypocrite.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3542360/Bernie-Sanders-takes-private-flight-Rome-speak-Vatican-conference-burning-gallons-fuel-just-hours-attacking-Hillary-Clinton-climate-change.html

After attacking rival Hillary Clinton for her stance on fossil fuels stepped on Thursday, Sanders stepped off the plane on Friday in Rome for the Vatican conference with his wife, ten family members, a group of campaign staff, Secret Service detail and members of the press.

(snip)

On average, an American flies only 7,500 miles per year, according to AmericanForests.org, 1,360 fewer miles than Sanders' round-trip Rome travel. Thus, an average American releases less carbon emissions via aircraft each year than Sanders did in 24 hours.

(snip)

It is unknown how much it cost Sanders to charter the plane for the one-day trip, but according to a 2012 article from the Wall Street Journal, many sports teams charter similar aircraft and pay as much as $200,000 for one-way domestic flights.

What a careless way to use the money people gave him from their hard-earned paychecks, which are probably much smaller than Bernie's to begin with.

The Food and Drug Administration sent a warning letter to Delta’s chief executive stating that inspectors had found “the presence of rodent excreta pellets and rodent urine stains” near the food prep and storage areas of one of the carrier’s planes. The inspection—conducted between January 26 and February 2 at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, also revealed droppings “too numerous to count” in the ceiling panels of the plane’s middle crossover galley, where the crew store food and drinks.
