2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumit really all comes down to this for Bernie
And this is how we know he's not down and out.
Bernie is doing better against Hillary than Ted Cruz is against Trump, yet the media is still clamoring for how Cruz can work things to win against Trump.
But even though Bernie is doing better than Cruz, the media is convinced that Bernie should drop out.
Theres really no secret that the powers that be desire a certain outcome here.

(1,976 posts)It was once commonplace around here to lob the same charge against Repubs. Was that racist?

(1,976 posts)Hillary and her supporters play both sides of the race card. Whatever suits their needs. Btw, I know nothing about who you are but in a small way you prove my claim.

(10,345 posts)There's millions of voters and caucus goers that were screwed out of that right this primary season.
But if Hillary Supporters wanna gloat over a victory in new york like that then, by all means, show us how much you really care about the voting process.

Or is it, anything it takes?

Folks just aren't all that into your candidate.
There is no fraud. The Vermont independent's support in a mile deep and an inch wide.

(10,345 posts)That have had their right to vote made more and more difficult by varying events this season?
Wow. You're that in denial? Even Hillary herself talks about it at times, lawsuits have been filed.
Lol anything it takes right?

Folks just aren't into Bernie...
Go to Bed-Stuy, go to Brownsville, go to Jamaica, go to Hollis, go to the South Bronx, go to Harlem, and actually talk to people there. They will tell you they are not feeling the Bern.
There'a whole world beyond the Bernie internet bubble.
P.S. I almost forgot. Senator Sanders has spent millions on polling after saying they were superfluous. If the actual results differ from his polling in the states he lost he should produce those polls.

(17,301 posts)First the ballot box is rigged. You don't know if your vote is counted or not. There is no way to tell. Then the process of voting is rigged to keep out all but the most fanatical conservative from voting.
Second she and her supporters keep asking him to drop out. The corporate media keeps asking him when he's going to drop out. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Third, we haven't had a real liberal in the White House since JFK and when one finally runs, we all pretend he isn't what he really is. A real liberal unlike Hillary, unlike Obama unlike Bill.

(2,348 posts)Cruz still has a realistic way of winning. Stop Trump from getting 1,238 delegates, and the process is completely up in the air. Cruz can certainly have a shot of winning a contested convention.
Bernie, on the other hand, has no path. The math makes it all but impossible for him to overtake Hillary in pledged delegates, and the supers are NOT going to overturn that result. Therefore, Bernie has no realistic way of winning.

(10,492 posts)Cruz's endgame is hoping to force a second ballot where th pledge delegates will be freed. That plus the way the GOP allocates delegates in some states...winner-take-all, 50% of a precinct takes all (e.g. NY) makes any Republican to Democratic Party primary comparisons invalid. It's the only reason Kasich lingers on because he took every single Ohio delegate.
