A curious juxtaposition of thread titles

I cropped this out of a screen shot of the first page of GD earlier today, in my mind the juxtaposition of two such contradictory thread titles raises a lot of questions.

The economy is supposed to be doing well, gdp/gnp and all that, but the reality in people's homes and minds differs.

will tell you that the evaluation on what constitutes inflation is horse hockey.

I honestly don't know how a person that doesn't know how to cook in this economy keeps their head above water.

and the other is propaganda brought to us by yet another Bill Clinton 1990's change.

One makes the job creators look and feel good inside. Presidents also get to secure their 'legacies' on a slight of hand.

The other shows us just how desperate and angry real people in the real world actually are.
