people pay her that money to hopefully gain access to her family and her family friends. Initations to parties, get together, etc.

That is why all these companies are paying politicians to give speeches. They cannot ask for quid pro quo, but what they do get in return is ACCESS.

Access is something the rest of the people are not allowed.

with a local celebrity (like the Channel 92 Weathercaster), a Happy Hillary Meal (complete with a statuette of Hillary and a pre-addressed envelope to mail more money in), a postcard of the Clinton's summer rental mansion in the Hamptons, and a genuine thank-you note with a genuine facsimile signature by Hillary herself!

Sounds good to me!

May she should back the $15 minimum???

A special YOUNG VOTERS fundraising group....for donations "as low as" $250.00? Are they kidding? $250.00?

On second thought, I suppose if you command a quarter of a million dollars for an hour-long speech, $250.00 must sound like random loose change lost in your couch cushions.

... Thus, if you raise $250, for instance by hosting a party with 25 people donating $10 each, you become as associate member of for45. How no idea what it means to become an associate member, but maybe you get a chance to get seats at debates or get into other events.

I like the part where for 10K, the young person is called an "advisor."

But hey... some of them are going for it

"We will have an opportunity to fundraise and host low-dollar events, speaking to what we are passionate about and why we support her," said Akilah Ensley, a 32-year-old Clinton supporter planning to join the group. "It's important that we engage."

'I was curious if I could care about (money) on some fundamental level, and I couldn’t,' Clinton told The Telegraph.

The phrase "on some fundamental level" is what grabs my attention. What did she mean by that? Money for its own sake, moving money around from one hedge fund to another, accumulating vast sums?

I think she cares very much about the influence and things money can buy... just not money itself, LOL.
