Related: About this forumSHAUN KING: Hillary Clinton Camp Paying Online TROLLS To Attack Anyone Who Disparages Her Online
If elected, Hillary will bring along her BFF smear-rodent David Brock into her administration who will run the new dissent attack police organization.......thats what you are voting for!.......buckle up!....
Many moons ago, David Brock, now the head of a Hillary Clinton Super PAC, used every resource available to ruin the life of Anita Hill and anyone who supported her. He would lie, cheat, and blatantly misrepresent facts if it meant getting Clarence Thomas through the Supreme Court nomination process. Brock openly admitted it. Now, it appears Brock, who is no doubt great at what he does, is using his same old tools, but for a new cause in a new technological era. As head of the Correct The Record Super PAC for Hillary Clinton, David Brock has launched something called Barrier Breakers an online mob of paid trolls designed to attack any and every person who says one cross word about Hillary Clinton on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, or elsewhere. This isn't a conspiracy theory. They openly spin their strategy on the Correct The Record website and state that they are putting over $1 million behind their efforts. As you likely know, Super PACs are allowed to raise and spend unlimited money on these types of efforts.
What's ugly is that we have no idea who these paid operatives are online. According to Correct The Record, many will be former reporters, PR executives, bloggers, and others. We have no idea if they truly say what they mean or mean what they say. Are they even using their actual identities? The Sanders campaign openly stated that they have never paid for any online comments. All of this comes after the revelation from POLITICO that "NBCUniversal, News Corporation, Turner Broadcasting and Thomson Reuters are among more than a dozen media organizations that have made charitable contributions to the Clinton Foundation in recent years, the foundation's records show. The donations range from the low-thousands to the millions."
In fact, people from the television industry have given the Hillary Clinton campaign over $9 million so far. David Cohen, head of Regulatory Affairs for Comcast has already hosted a private fundraiser for Hillary Clinton in which people who donated at least $50,000 got to attend a private reception with her. All of this, of course, muddies the waters to the point of us not being quite clear who's a crony, who's a donor, or who's a staffer for the Clinton campaign. So much money is exchanging hands that it is impossible to tell who's been bought and sold.

Juror #6 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: It's tempting to hide it, but there are posts all up and down this thread that should be hidden. So if the children want to play rough, let them.
Juror #7 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Uncalled for, sorry to say. If it'd been with an emotion to show it was a joke too or friendly snark.... but lacking the ability to read tone if fhst was actually Logical's intent.... Must hide.

Her administration (should we be so unlucky) will be marked by many instances of "getting even." Hence, all the endorsements by Congresscritters and anyone who'd prefer to be on her good side. They've been bought, bribed or bullied into endorsing her. Now she brags about them... like that means she's the best or something.

(7,911 posts)being a thug online seems to be acceptable, and I can't help but wonder if that will, by a process of gradual expansion, make it acceptable to be a thug face to face. With Trump leading the way those who advocate for political positions of all stripes seem to be creeping ever closer to open thuggery. Someone who would hire online thugs has already taken a step in that direction, and it is legitimate to wonder just how far that thuggery will be taken in the long run.

(1,947 posts)them here if that is not considered a violation of rules/privacy. Many of them are quite visible on twitter, and most of them list Correct the Record as their employer. However, I think most the people posting really negative stuff or distrupting forums are working for contractors, so that they do not have to be listed. The biggest one they use appears to be Blue State Digital, which has about 700 staff listed in Linkedn, many with vague profiles that could be euphemistic paid trolls.
Remember that a lot of businesses have operations like this now, to monitor comments across the internet, and post positive things about their products. I expect in the general election we may see worse, with DDOS attacks on sites that are used to coordinate GOTV, hacking into mailing lists, etc.
