OH Dems caught with hand in the cookie jar - GOP taking it up 'immediately'

It's the 'Buckeyes for Obama' student organization @ OSU in trouble. They've had 6 early vote rallies, from Oct. 22 - Nov.1.

And on the posters, it says, "Free Food. Come Together. Make History. "

They are "buying votes with pizza". Yep. They have an "unlimited" tab with Donatos. Participants also get free bumper stickers and free transportation to the early voting center.

Ohio Republican Chairman Bob Bennett says, in part, " it is reasonable to infer that the individuals handling out food, including the Obama for America staffers, were attempting to - and, in fact, may have succeeded at - influencing electors to register to vote and/or cast a ballot. Such conduct is clearly prohibited under Ohio law. "

Uh oh. Those damn kids and their damn pizza.

"The Franklin County board is taking it up.

In a media briefing Friday, the Obama campaign said its yearlong grassroots organizing effort in Ohio is paying off with strong showings in early voting in key areas across the state, including college campuses. " AP

Quit so quickly assuming everyone is troll, you guys are just as annoying as actual trollers with your snarky "thanks for your concern" BS auto responses. I get about 90% of my news from this site, so I enjoy seeing the good and bad that we are facing. In this case the OP was obviously not a troll, so you come out looking like an asshat with no understanding of irony for accusing him as such.

From dictionary.com

Irony: "the use of words to convey a meaning that is the opposite of its literal meaning: the irony of her reply, How nice!' when I said I had to work all weekend."

Sarcasm: "harsh or bitter derision or irony."

If we're going to talk about inconsequential things, let's be specific.

Gosh, I'm ever so glad I didn't get a free slice of pizza and a Willard bumper sticker on Friday before I voted or I might have switched my vote to Willard and his little toad, Lyin'.

Yeah, that could've happened. All for pizza and a bumper sticker of a candidate for whom I would never vote. Puh-leaze.
