But a Kennedy sits in Congress. We've had two Bush presidents, and they were related to Franklin Pierce.

On the other hand, if we get a 2nd President Clinton (nee Rodham), she will share no bloodline with the other one.

Seems pretty closed to me--it's certainly a family affair.

I don't think my point is moot at all.

The term in the context of this conversation can mean whatever we want it to mean, because Politics ≠ Physics, and never will.

But the above poster has Bernie actually stealing from a person. Not sure when taxing with representation or donating was ever stealing. Unlike the DNC that taxes independents to fund their closed elections.

P.S. I love the fact the cartoon is using the free stuff meme, and that the guy loves free stuff, and by the nature of the cartoon would then have a problem with taxes to pay? Does any one know how Costco or more so co-ops work? That is such a smarmy cartoon.

Gary Varvel is a political cartoonist for the Indianapolis Star.[1] Gary Varvel has been the editorial cartoonist for The Star since 1994.[2] Previously he was the chief artist for The Indianapolis News for 16 years.[2] His works are syndicated with Creators Syndicate. His cartoons are written from a conservative point of view.[1] Varvel is an avid sports fan, and often includes the Indianapolis sports scene in his cartoons.

Besides being a cartoonist, he is a part-time art teacher and an adult Sunday school teacher. Varvel resides in Brownsburg, Indiana with his wife and three children.

Bernie hasn't laid out anything very clearly. His math is a complete chimera--ugly, scary, patched together, a complete mess, and nonexistent.

His nonsensical "plans" rely on cooperation from a Congress that hates him so much that nearly NONE of them will endorse him. If they don't think he should be POTUS, you seriously think they'll follow along with his hare-brained schemes? It's far more likely they'd tick off the days until he could be primaried--but that's in a mythical world where he could overcome his massive and relentless delegate deficit and gain the nomination...but that's not happening.

It's all over but the realization.

And that's just a fact. The Weaver plan of flipping the Supers is just crazy talk. That's not going to happen, and just proposing it shows how far out to lunch the leadership of his campaign is--no wonder he's flailing. He's taking incredibly bad advice from aides who specialize in goading, baiting and bullying--and it's all going over like a lead balloon. But now that they've gone on the attack, it's kind of hard for them to stop (Tad Devine is pulling millions out of the campaign every month for his own company, so of COURSE he wants the gravy train to keep rolling).

So they'll just crack on with the snark, the "Bros" will keep posting "Queen Hillary" cartoons, and eventually, it will spiral down and out. Poor Bernie. His legacy is tarnished with every chunk of crap flung....but hey....do go on!
