2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumBros4Hillary.com admits that a member is responsible for the Bernie FB pages take down.
http://www.bros4hillary.com/statement-from-b4h-leadership/Ludicrously, they want us to believe that only 1 (now ex) member is responsible for the take down of 16+ pages. They want us to believe that a few complaints will trigger a take down. For those of you who are not aware of Face Book's take down policies, it takes mass reporting in order for Face Book to react as quickly as it did.

(628 posts)and see where the child porn that was posted on one of the groups page came from.

(39,961 posts)Somebody posted child porn on one of the group pages?
Now that shit DOES need to be investigated.

(27,310 posts)were being posted so quickly that the hosts could not keep up removing them and had to report THEMSELVES to Face Book.
This is why it is ridiculous to believe that the take down of so many groups was the result of one Bro4Hillary alone.
Here is a screen shot via twitter of other people bragging about taking down Bernie pages and supporters.

(39,961 posts)that is not funny.
Are you saying that posting child porn and subjecting innocent users to it is ha-ha funny?
Because if that did happen, that shit needs to be investigated pronto, and laughing about that reflects far more poorly on you than people discussing it.

Keep laughing about that.

(57,936 posts)for Hillary in November. Bernie plays fair. We Bernie supporters may sometimes be critical and honest in expressing our opinions about Hillary, but we play fair.
What a terrible thing to do. Just no sense of fairness.
It's the leadership on the Hillary side that draws people with that kind of mentality to her campaign. Sorry to say that, but it is true.

(1,235 posts)looks to me like they wanted to use that story until they learned the real reason to stop the speculation.
That group had a policy of not allowing any Hillary-hate posts to remain, and if the rumor of this being a Hillary attack were to be left standing it would have been very hard to police the group ... so until they knew for sure and had evidence, they left it as a 'database error'.

(1,712 posts)No surprise. That campaign and a number of its most rabid followers are unethical to the core.

(32,324 posts)I thought it was an urban legend.
But now it seems like HRC's campaign has definitely utilized information from
Rove's playbook, as well as that of Richard Nixon's decades ago.

(1,377 posts)Swiftboating was a major help to Bush 04 run. Bush was a National Guard desk jockey during Vietnam war going up against a person who was on a Swiftboat over in jungles of Vietnam. Won numerous medals. So Karl Rove took the major bonus for Kerry and turned it into a story about how Kerry was a coward. Clinton did same thing with Civil Rights. Sanders record should of had major appeal to African Americans but Brock was able to get a black reporter to lie about the picture and also got most of black caucus to lie about Sanders. They totally flipped his being a active member of 1960s civil rights moment into that he and his supporters where all racist "white" men.

(32,324 posts)There is South Carolina.
Pennsylvania and California are very controlled - I mean, of the 57 registrar of Voters' positions, here in Calif., only one person is not crooked.
That election wherein the initiative to have Gm foods labelled was called as being defeated for the organic movement and a victory for the Gm producers, with ONE MILLION BALLOTS uncounted at the time the call was made. (More than enough uncounted ballots to allow the organic movement their victory.)
This is what passes for democracy.
