Florida GOP Official: 'Clinton Will Go Down Like Monica Lewinsky'

Here's a taste of what we can expect from Trump supporters in the days to come, because Republicans never fail to be as disgusting as they possibly can.

TPM:

Bob Sutton, chairman of the Broward County GOP Executive Committee, suggested Clinton would be easy to debate in the general election.

“I think when Donald Trump debates Hillary Clinton she’s going to go down like Monica Lewinsky,” Sutton told the Post.

Maybe he should have checked with Trey Gowdy before he went there. But whatever the case, it was a disgusting and nasty thing to say, particularly since Hillary Clinton was the wronged party in that whole thing.

I wonder why it is that Republican male politicians seem to think that they can make degrading and misogynistic comments, promote laws that limit women's and girls' access to the healthcare they need, and oppose equal pay and family leave without alienating women voters. I guess it just comes down to misogyny: they think that they can abuse women and we will still vote for them.

I think even Republican women who have been loyal to the party are getting fed up, but they don't know where to go. Trump and Cruz are both repellent to most women, and they may find it difficult to vote for a Democrat if they have been lifelong Republicans and live in conservative states.

I guess we'll find out in November.

9. The GOP has never had to deal with a woman nominee as their opponent.

To top it all, it's their nemesis Hillary. The poor things won't be able to contain themselves. There will be more remarks like Sutton's coming forth. On the plus side, it will doom them in the long run.

Let Trump, et al. spew their misogynist comments.

And wanting to burn my own eyes out for having seen it.

The imagery is ... Unpleasant. And yes, with Hillary as a candidate, we all get to relive the 90s.
