CNN: Hamilton Burger showing real strength against Perry Mason. "Evenly matched adversaries"

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by Rhiannon12866 (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

And in sports, CNN panelists agree the Washington Generals are showing signs of a surge against the Harlem Globetrotters.

They define their narrative, then they cherry pick the data that fits with the narrative and ignore the other 90%.

We know Faux is just a propaganda machine. Nobody takes them seriously as a news network. But CNN really thinks they are a news network. It is sad, really.

I think there may be lots of younger DUers who don't know it was a TV series called Perry Mason and Perry only lost one case to Hamilton (the DA) during the whole series.

Well, guess I just did it

Their job was to lose every game in a way that seemed like they were actually trying to win.

They won 6 games and lost 13,000.

Scandal in the fifties. I remember something about it, but I cannot recall what it was about. It involved the actor who played Hamilton Burger.

But, CNN is not reporting that, due to insane network "post modernist" equal balance rules.

While the discussion is light-hearted, I think most people understand that there are important issues at stake here when CNN fundamentally misrepresents the state of the election.

This is far more important than the 1000 posts a day obsessing about irrelevant changes to irrelevant national polls.
