Obama last night "If this material works well, I’m gonna use it at Goldman Sachs next year"

"Here we are. My eighth and final appearance at this unique event. And I am excited. If this material works well, I’m gonna use it at Goldman Sachs next year. Earn me some serious Tubmans! That’s right. That’s right."

Is this funny?

Kinda a sore subject during the primaries...

But I don't find it funny because Obama failed to hold Wall Street accountable and probably will make money giving speeches to bankers in the near future.

This should be unacceptable to people.

If it wasn't so damned serious, I'd be impressed at how consistently the Clintonistas go for this strategy of saying the exact opposite and repeating it 1000 times until it appears to stick.

We wouldn't have the right to be angry?

We wouldn't be using logic in assuming the overpaid speeches are returning the favor for looking the other way?

Kinda a sore subject during the primaries...

As I said, it wasn't exactly an over-the-fence home-run ... but the sour and indignant reactions to bunted jokes often turn them into doubles or triples.

You guys are SO sensitive.

Is that he wanted to make the bank speech circuit after his presidency.

I guess with everything as messed up as it is in this country, because of this type of corruption...it's just not very funny to me.

I'm a Bernie supporter and I thought the joke was a slam on HRC. I thought it was funny.

But I do hope he doesn't go for the easy money of Goldman Sachs. I hope he finds a different way.

Fortunately we don;'t have to worry about him collecting big fees from banks and foreign governments as a "honest graft" for his wife's political future because Michelle doesn't seem all that interested.
