Fuckin CNN -- Asking what Bernie is talking about while he's talking

Heard on CNN that they would be covering a press confernece by Bernie. So I put off some necessary car cleaning to try and catch it.

They aired about three minutes of his statement, where he summed up where the campaign is, and what their plans and strategy is.

So those fookersr then cut it off and said "We expect there will be a question and answer session and we'll follow it. But now we want to talk to a couple of guests about it. So what is Senator saying:? What will be his jmesage from the news conference? "

Followed by some back and forth, in which the anchor berated the Sanders supporter: "But what is he going to say? Whyis he holding this conference?"

Meanwhile they showed Sanders speaking on the screen with no sound.

Fuck you you stupid CNN dipshits! Maybe if you fucking had let Sanders state his case with the sound on instead of "discussing it" ....

....Then it was on to more important things like yet another recap of correspondents Dinner.

If Bernie had been Trump or Clinton they would have carried it in full.

But that's not even the point.

Stupid fucking goddamn asshole media morons. That kind of nonsense is not just favoritism -- it's malpractice!

the corporate owners know exactly what they're doing: trying to minimize support for Bernie Sanders any way they can. It's amazing to watch in real time the strategies of the vast array of powerful forces (including the DNC) working to preserve the status quo any way they can. It's very, very serious business - the vast profits of corporations and banks are at stake. From the corporate point of view, Bernie Sanders' campaign is something that should never, ever have happened. You can bet that they're already discussing and planning how to prevent such a thing from ever happening again.

I'm sure you wouldn't be "whining" if Clinton had called a press briefing and the same thing happened.

I don't even care whether or not they delivered the live coverage of his press conference, and just done a follow up news report.

But they way they handled it was atrocious.

Unless you are so blinded by partisanship you should recognize that it was journalistic malpractice

Not likely but the "fat lady has not yet sung."

He is far beyond Kasich territory.

And as I noted above, anyone who cares about the quality of news coverage should be offended when a network shpows an ongoing press conference and decided to talk over the event while it is still happening.

We've also been hearing this song and dance for awhile. After the run of the white caucus states + Wisconsin, it was "OMG BERNIE JUST HAS TO CARRY THE REST AT 56% AND WE'RE GONNA WIN NY!!!". Following a blowout in NY it was "OMG BERNIE JUST HAS TO CARRY THE REST AT 58% AND WE'RE GONNA WIN PENN & CT!!!". After losing 4 of 5 (2 were monstrous blowouts), now it's "OMG BERNIE JUST HAS TO CARRY THE REST AT 64% AND WE'RE GONNA WIN CA!!!"

Even Mr. Magoo or the Blind Boys of Alabama could see the trend there, bro...

It would be as infurtiating if they'd done it to anyone....Especially since they let Trump go on for hours.

I'm sure if he had some EARTH-SHATTERING news that he wanted to share, or something SCANDALOUS about Hillary, he or someone on his campaign would have at least leaked to the press corps what the topic was. And even if the press didn't want to "scoop" him and spoil Bernie's surprise by being the first to announce it, they'd have given him more time. (If his talk starts off with "we started this campaign polling at 3%" then everyone already knows it's the standard stump speech.)

But if he was announcing that he was withdrawing or suspending his campaign ... well ... now THAT would be news! At this late date, Bernie is not "news" any more. That's just the way it is.

When a candidate, or his supporters, or his surrogates start blaming the media for the candidate's failures, then it's pretty much over.
