The Hillary people think they're smart, using the phrase "tea party left" while at the same time complaining about the possibility of being taxed a few more cents on the dollar exactly the way the Tea Party Right does.

They act just like selfish republicans.

The full effects of these center right policies...the problem is that so will the rest of us. (And for many reasons the RW congress will stop her)

But seriously I wish them to lose SS, and a livable world. After all, he with the most toys...wins.

And that "left wing tea party" might become a self fulfilling prophecy. Be careful what you wish for. Hey, it will make my job far from well boring

to be able to get at least 2 years of free collage presumably community collage? Strangely I don't seem to remember all the poo-pooing of that , complaining about free stuff coming from the Democratic side of aisle

that type of complaining does NOT come from the Democratic side of the aisle.

It is just amazing what a little logo allows certain types to get away with.

on the one hand out one side of the collective mouth you've got Bernie's just trying to get votes by telling folks presumably young he'll give them free stuff and we Democrats are not about giving away free stuff (at least since '96) and out the other side you've got Bernie will raise our taxes , but what isn't said is why will Bernie raise taxes - to pay for the free stuff, meaning it really isn't free at all but some especially those in the upper 10 to 15% income brackets will pay more in taxes-making it in reality a form of - wait for it income redistribution and well where have we heard this concept decried in the past?

Unfortunately, it's unlikely to happen at the Illinois state university level because of the current state budget crisis. Chicago State University just laid off 1/3 of its staff this weekend.

The private and pricey Northwestern University recently announced a plan to make an education there more affordable so students can graduate without debt.

It's a good start.

Maybe if you paid everybody $20, you could get a big crowd. 10,000 people x $20 is only $200K. Which, coincidentally, is what Hillary makes in one speech on Wall Street. Maybe they could even wave their twenties in unison... that would be cool.
