2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumMy mailed-in Absentee ballot has gone missing in Florida! My first name sounds hispanic!
I'm very concerned! My husband and I voted by absentee ballot for the first time and I mailed ballots back on Oct. 17th to Palm Bch Supervisor of elections' office from my Post office. I called election office today to verify receipt and they received my husband's ballot on 10/22 but they DID NOT receive mine. They are curently checking into it and took my number and I hope to hear back. I have also reported it to the Voter Help hotline.
I don't know if this an isolated incident however it looks like everyone needs to call their election office to make sure that their ballot was received because it looks like things are getting screwed up already! Let me add that while I'm not hispanic my first name is (anita) and I'm getting very suspicious that this has something to do with it!

(827 posts)If you really are worried about this happening to others, send priority mail or with return receipt. Pay the $5 plus to guarantee it gets treated with priority but even then there's no guarantee.
