Brilliant discussion on Bernie, democracy, FDR.

They ask a very frightening question which everyone better think about. Is this the beginning or the end? They talk about holding the OWS and other movements together with the Sanders campaign in one context. FDR's platform, and the similarities to Bernie's.

This is the title of the book they have co-authored and I think everyone needs to read it. You are correct - it was totally fascinating. For instance, what can we do to make a living in this future of fewer jobs and overall just preparing for a jobless society if it comes to it. Also talked about warding off fascism, and the factors that come into play that make fascism wash ashore and threaten different societies (including our own).

Take a look for yourself if you haven't seen this video.

And thanks, Gregorian, for pointing it out to us.

What's weird is I have the ideas that they do, but it's as if I'm not conscious of them until hearing it put so accurately by these authors.

For example, I gave an opportunity to own an electronics company in Silicon Valley, when things were booming. There was just no way I was going to live in the concrete jungle and flog away no matter how much I made. I actually felt badly about leaving. And my life got more difficult. But I had time. And I hear some very important values being talked about in that interview. Bernie is also pointing out priorities.
