Seems to me both democratic candidates are fighting to see who gets impeached.

Try to remember on which grounds Bill got

Don't get me wrong, they would fight Bernie like
hell, but they would find no reason to impeach him.

Bernie did well.
He would have beaten anybody on the Republican ticket.
He just couldn't manage to connect with enough Democratic primary voters
to win the nomination.
Now he's trailing by an insurmountable number of delegates, 300.
And 3 million votes.
Democrats prefer Hillary.

Bernie is out of time and delegate rich states.
Too bad tho. He would have won in November.
Any Democrat was going to win this year.
She's got this in the bag.
300 more delegates and 3 million more votes.

(3,473 posts)With Bernie Sanders lopping hundreds of staffers from his campaign this week, it's easy to forget he has outraised and outspent Hillary Clinton every month this year. And not by just a little.
Sanders described his campaign as the "underdog" early on, but it certainly hasn't been the case the past three months. Federal Election Commission reports for January, February and March of 2016 show Sanders outspending Clinton by more than 50 percent, $121.6 million to $80.2 million.

In effect, she spent $150,000,000+ to ensure that more people detested her than ever before.

(5,614 posts)Sanders has cost Clinton a huge amount of money and revealed her essential weaknesses as a candidate.
Sure, she has more delegates and, sure, more millions of votes have been cast for her than for Sanders
BUT
This was supposed to be a cakewalk to her inevitable coronation. Instead she faces a situation in which the nomination may be determined by super-delegates appointed as delegates to keep pesky people like Sanders from having a chance.
How can anyone not see that this is a terrible blow to the inevitable one?
