Calls for Bernie to drop out because Trump

Plenty of threads tonight calling for Bernie to drop out because Trump is bad, and stuff, but these are bogus. If Hillary supporters were really afraid of Trump, they would support the person who has the best chance of beating him. There would be such a multitude of posts claiming that Hillary can get better against him, and there definitely wouldn't be all the arguments that Democrats should choose their candidate without regard to independents.

If Trump were a real concern, they would back the better candidate against him. End of Story.

Instead, Trump is used as the boogey man to try to scare people into backing exactly who Hillary supporters want to win anyway. It should be immediately obvious to anyone that their arguments are not going to be based in facts of logic given such a motivation.

But there's another interesting but sad aspect to all of this: saying that Sanders is hurting Hillary's chances is, in effect, laying the excuse in the event that she loses. It's a lot easier to blame Sanders and all his supporters than to admit Hillary's many critical flaws, so blaming Sanders lets them avoid ever having to come to terms with all the stuff they laugh off (the army of ;rofl;s is strong).

So, yeah, I call bullshit on the whole thing.

4. And the truth is, Hillary will not win if she is the candidate facing Trump.

Unless of course the whole Trump vs Hillary was pre-determined and the Clinton family will use a billion or two to buy him off.

But if she is the candidate and it really is an election, than what would stop Trump from mentioning Bill's eleven visits to Epstein's island and the underage girls?

What is to stop Trump from demonstrating to the American people what a guldarn joke the entire "Clinton Charity Foundation" is. After all, for the most part, it has been nothing but a scheme by which the big time money interests offer up "charitable contributions," and get themselves some tax refunds in the bargain. And then SURPRISE SURPRISE those companies call the shots.

Look at how HRC's state department was so keen on the XL Pipeline. And then look into the paperwork of the Foundation to see the Big time Energy firms that offered "contributions."

This is just one of the things that might pop up to haunt Ms. "I Never-Knew-A-Con Game" Clinton that she didn't like.

Both Hillary and Trump are disliked significantly, but I agree that there is so much that Trump can legitimately bring against Hillary. If nothing else, having national security secrets on an unsecured server will not play well, regardless of how many cackles and;rofl;s she offers up.

Sanders seem the more winnable match up but time is on our side as other events play out in the month ahead.

when it was clear Obama would get the nomination, well before the final primaries.

Wait, no she didn't. She stayed in until the end. Just as Bernie should.

Plus, there's still the FBI investigation out there, and if I were a Hillary fan, I'd be extremely concerned that that hasn't been put to rest. My personal conspiracy theory here is that they are waiting for her to get the nomination and then they'll indict.

Because he concedes Trump's framing that America has stopped being great. Once you do that, the incumbent party loses.

You're basically saying that any candidate who thought we needed reform would lose to Trump - they would be agreeing with him. That's a big stretch. And a lot of people do actually agree with the idea that the country has huge problems. They don't agree with what Trump thinks those problems are.

If Bernie was more "electable" he would be winning. Bernie's wimpiness has not been exposed yet. Trump would tear Bernie up. Bernie is Dukakis, but thankfully does not have a chance to win the primary.

face Sanders' main challenges. While they watch a massive slice of delegates grow larger for June they are already screwed. This is the best they can talk about in the meantime. Intimidation shows fear.
