...and characterizing the conservative/progressive issues spectrum as red to blue.
And certainly, I think all the teevee networks and media outlets need to change their color coding.
NEW RULEZ, PEOPLE!
Democratic candidates, labels, issues, positions, statements, etc.: BLUE background, typeface, etc.
Republican candidates, labels, issues, positions, statements, etc.: ORANGE background, typeface, etc.
As in "The new orange face of conservatism/the GOP/etc."

Blue birds are called "pajaros conservadores"
Red birds are called "pajaros liberales".
I think we got it backwards here in the USA.
