locking up the general. Bernie has been doing better against Trump, but most of them dismissed head to head polls until this week.

4. He is pretty darn close right now

and it is not over.

With the demographics and states that matter in the GE, he is already the better candidate.

With the FBI server investigation still looming, he is already the better candidate.

With all the polling thus far, he beats Trump at higher ratios than does Clinton if she even wins at all, so he is already the better candidate.

8. Sanders beats Trump by TWICE the margin that Clinton does,

in six new polls, and Clinton actually LOSES to Trump in one of these polls (Rasmussen).

Recent polls:

Sanders has been beating Trump by bigger margins than Clinton for 4 or 5 months now. This is an obvious reflection of his support among independents (now 40+% of the electorate), new voters, young voters, and disaffected Democratic and Republican voters. This continuing strength with voters who will not likely vote for Clinton makes him by far the best candidate for the GE. And I'm sure this is one of his arguments for the super-delegates. They're risking everything on her, while he is the one who demolishes Trump!

against him and the money thing being equal. Given that he's probably going to beat her anyway, I think trump is a trifle in the long run. You may not agree but he will beat her. Besides, in head to head match ups in the GE he beats trump by 19 [points on average and she loses. Don't confuse the race with the idea Bernie can't beat her. Given the odds and the massive oppression of his campaign, the idea that he probably will anyway is a revolutionary thing. Bernie is being carried forward on a wave of love. HRC isn't.
