Sparse crowd at Romney "storm relief" event

The rally was held at Fairmont High School and there was plenty of room for everyone. I mean, just look at the turnout for this scheduled event (and it was very much a scheduled event) in the important swing state.

Look closely at the photos. Notice how no one is wearing a coat? Notice there are a lot of young people with the "F" t-shirt? Obviously these are people who were already in the building otherwise they would be wearing winter clothes (its snowing in Dayton).

The gym wasn't full of Romney supporters, it was full of students, teachers, and staff at Fairmont who went to hear him during lunch. Romney is hoping he can win Ohio with high school sophomores and juniors.

They get credit for their American government courses for attending. In Ohio you have to have so many community service hours to pass government class. Attending political speeches counts. Plus they get to be on tv!

One of the richest guys in the country collecting a few cans of pork and beans in a crucial swing state.

It's a nauseating display of cynicism.

The other day he had a "huge" rally in Avon Lake, Ohio; in the high school gym. That is really all he is doing at this point, high school gyms, meetings rooms, etc. He can't fill a decent auditorium in Ohio, unlike the President, who fills stadiums and enormous fields with tens of thousands of people. They are hoping no one notices, but anyone with eyes can see this guy is pathetic. Chris Christie knows it too, lol.
