Nate Silver isn't the only one who writes for 538.

Whenever someone posts an article from FiveThirtyEight, numerous people immediately attack Nate Silver. Guess what, folks, most of the articles posted were not written by Nate Silver. Perhaps if people would actually read the articles they would realize this. Just a thought.

At any time he can come out and say he disagrees. Just a thought.

92% chance he won't.

There's clearly a misunderstanding of statistical analysis. The percentages offered up on 538 don't mean what folks seem to think they do.

Anyway, just like most any other site, there are numerous contributors. I don't see a similar reaction when people post articles from other sites. There seems to be an unhealthy obsession with Nate Silver.

Data is always biased; political survey data is just more obvious and pervasive than some other types.

Nate Silver probably used multiple ids and covered all combinations the only time he got it right. If he did this, no matter which combination won, he would have taken credit. He has not got it completely right even one time while making predictions under his real name.
