Related: About this forumHillary's aides were interviewed by FBI the last few weeks (CNN) why did she say that they weren't
In recent weeks, multiple aides have been interviewed -- some more than once, the officials said.

yet
And Clinton on MSNBC said neither she nor her staff have yet been contacted by the FBI, which is investigating the handling of classified information on the private email server she used a secretary of state.

so which is it? If one is lying then one has to be consistent

Huma was interviewed on April 5th and Hillary gave the interview this week.

(8,976 posts)The lie (or parsing if you prefer) did her ABSOLUTELY no good. It gave her no advantage. Any sane person would realize that the truth would come out and that when it did her reply could hurt her but ABSOLUTELY could not help ANYTHING. And when you consider that as part of her mental makeup the thought of her in high office becomes scary as hell.

(491 posts)I assume she knew the interviews would come out later but not likely right after she made her statement. I bet she assumed there would be enough wiggle room to claim she didn't lie.
Not like any "reporter" would ask her about it. I got to see CNN last night discuss the email topic and the amount of misinformation in Clinton's favor that was reported was atrocious. It was like Clinton talking points.

(8,976 posts)what is being discussed is Clinton's seemingly habitual and needless lying and how that might play out through the campaign...
bigtree
(86,360 posts)...that line of political rhetoric of yours follows the republican propagandists script against Hillary almost verbatim.
It really is a good preview of the upcoming campaign against the republican demagogue. I'm thinking that it's losing right now in this primary, and it's even more of a loser in the fall campaign for republicans.
catnhatnh
(8,976 posts)...because Hillary is clearly following the same script. No one baited or tricked her-they asked a straight forward question and she told a bare faced lie.
