Is Donald Trump, friend of Clinton the big planned hoax to make her the sure winner?

It's sure looks that way.

The media GAVE him half a billion in free 'earned' media. OMG! Look at Trump go! Can't stop him! Blah blah. Now they have all changed their tunes, in unison. That is not real.

I think what we are witnessing is the biggest hoax in America today! Reality TV Campaign with the reality TV's finest, and friend of the Clinton's. Now they want him gone. Funny....this all stinks of a hoax.

Imagine, if the people elect Trump, because it backfired. Backfire on the Clinton's, the Democratic Party, and our entire Congress.

This has been nothing more than reality TV. American's have been had.
Bernie, will not be berned.....Bernie is going to win!

do that for the least qualified? Why did they not cover the worst of Trump and get rid of him? Why now, when all the contenders for the repubs are gone, ensuring a cake walk for Hillary?

Just saying, it's not going to be a cake walk. What the media did was dangerous. They created a reality based TV campaign. Now they want to undo this. But they forgot, they fed this to a reality based TV society. They knew it would work, until they don't want it to.
So....I'll play it the way I see it. Ignore all the family get togethers and golf. And this....

The Slough of Despond (/ˈslaʊ əv dᵻˈspɒnd/; "swamp of despair&quot is a deep bog in John Bunyan's allegory The Pilgrim's Progress, into which the protagonist Christian sinks under the weight of his sins and his sense of guilt for them.

It is described in the text:

'This miry Slough is such a place as cannot be mended; it is the descent whither the scum and filth that attends conviction for sin doth continually run, and therefore is it called the Slough of Despond: for still as the sinner is awakened about his lost condition, there ariseth in his soul many fears, and doubts, and discouraging apprehensions, which all of them get together, and settle in this place; and this is the reason of the badness of this ground.'[1]

My guess, Bill gave Trump visions of grandeur, which he went with. Beyond that, Trump is not magnanimous. If it happened, Trump got played, hard.

the question naturally arises. This whole landscape looks mighty fishy. There isn't much I would put past this establishment. (Btw, it was reported that Trump got more than $2 billion in free advertising, as of a month ago.)

It is very convenient, that the Goldwater Girl may happen to end up running against someone who just happens to stir up such FEAR as a motivator for people to vote for her, knowing her own super high disapproval rating. What did Goldwater lose on again? Why yes, it was fear of him! And HRC and Trump are such good social friends, their daughters are besties.

I don't think the hoax scenario is at all outside the realm of possibility, knowing some things such types have already done. Is it weirder than a phony war? I think not. We've had 2+ of those just in my lifetime.

I'm with you, ViseGrip, I think it's more likely than not, just going by objective observation.

As to most of the responses here, scoffers aren't thinkers. They are the LAST to know what's going on.

Most certainly, this will be an interesting kabuki to watch play out.
