2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumBernie on Rachel Maddow tonight?
IDK but read this. Can't watch her ever again.
It is a taped interview at his place in VT.
They are discussing the DNC Platform. Bernie wants to make it as progressive as possible. Also about the representation for shaping that platform.

(68,556 posts)He talks a good game, but his behavior during this primary has revealed his true nature. I turn the TV off or fast forward it...thanks for warning me he is on.

He's OK with caucuses, but admits the caucus process has its downsides. (IMO, if we are going to have an open, transparent process, we have to ditch caucuses and closed primaries--caucuses are too complicated and constrained by time (and space to an extent). Bernie likes it that you talk directly to your neighbors. I suspect he doesn't like the part about "the math" but he wasn't asked that part.
But Bernie admits he's still thinking this through.

(5,322 posts)Discussing the protests at Scy Clinton's and Trump's rallies. Bernie is not encouraging disruption by his supporters, but protesters want to be outside and protest, they are exercising their 1st Amendment Rights.
He's made it clear that if he is not the nominee, he will do everything to stop Trump regardless.

(7,321 posts)He managed it very nicely. She's all flustered by his intention to take it to the convention, but he schooled her nicely on what democracy actually looks like. Loved it.
