The Trump Hypothesis

Hillary wants to be president. It seems like we don't know all the reasons why, but it's likely that the main reason is money, and the money gained by the connections she will get and the influence she can apply. It's also painfully clear that Hillary isn't in it to improve the country. She is not a public servant.

The problem for her is that she isn't electable material. People don't trust her. So what could she do to make herself more electable? Running to be the first female president requires no effort on her part since she's already female. Now, to make that more important than her huge shortcomings, there's The Donald. He spouts off stuff against minorities and, more importantly, women and is about the most anti-democrat he can be. To us, he's terrifying. He makes Hillary looks absolutely great. Hillary can easily run a campaign about sexism.

Also, what Trump says is like crack to the base of the Republican Party. They love the shit he spouts and they got addicted to it very quickly. The base isn't that big - the Republicans can't win an election with just the base, but they also can't denounce Trump without alienating that base. With Trump bringing out all the stuff that was kept just below the surface, he is doing long-lasting damage to the carefully crafted party and they know it, but are powerless to stop it. By being pure and uncut, Trump was able to knock out all the actual Republicans from the race.

Trump is the grenade lobbed by Hillary at the Republican party.

Now along comes Sanders and he's the real threat. He actually is a public servant who isn't in it to enrich himself. He espouses all the values that the Democratic Party says it has, but really doesn't. He lays bare al reality that is just under the surface for us. Since Hillary's campaign is tooled to fight misogynists, the obvious thing is to make Bernie into a misogynist and fight against that, which is precisely what they did by creating the BernieBro myth.

We're pawns, or more precisely, we're suckers. So are the republican rank and file. All are being led around by their noses. Is Hillary going to be a good president? It's been clear for a long time that she will not. She will help Wall Street and the banks, she'll help her and her friends amass wealth through wars, and we've already seen her drop programs that would help actual people. We complain that Republicans aren't about making the country work but rather are just in it to enrich themselves, and we're right. Hillary is the same way, just with a (D)ifferent label.

So next time you see Trump, remember he's just an actor playing the part he was born for. He's a paid troll (although we will probably never know how he's paid and what he gets out of this, just like we'll never know what Hillary said to Goldman). Trump is a bigger version than all the paid trolls that infiltrate places like this on the 'net.

Now be good pawns and vote for your side.

If it's satire, it's brilliant, if not, it's kinda messed up.

Are the trolls sent our by Hillary's superpac a conspiracy theory? Calling The Donald one of Hillary's trolls is admittedly a bigger accusation, but is it really unthinkable that she wouldn't do something like this? Hillary has shown herself willing to do or say a lot of things in order to get elected. There is a picture floating around here of Hill and Bill laughing with Donald at a party, so it's not like they hate each other.

Donald is being exactly what she needs him to be to run against.

I suspect he will keep up the act and make it easier for her to run against sexism. The republican party is desperately trying to eject this flaming turd.

Nothing will change that. Your job is a simple one: distract and deflect.

I hope you get your cookie too.

I would argue more with you, but your goal isn't discussion. It's just to deflect anything bad away from Hillary. Actually engaging in thought and discussion in order to understand what's actually happening would run counter to your job.

And she's not on her own, she has a whole army (plus the DNC) to help. And again, one has to look at her goals. Even if she's brilliant, does that mean we want her for president? Will she help us? It's pretty clear she will just help herself.
