They get their fervor from how Bernie has been running his campaign

Bernie's action and behavior sends messages to his supporters. We have always known they are very much alike.. Bernie and Trump supporters... Be PROUD.. Go ahead! You best believe this is a huge turn off and it will make people be in disgust of you.

He drives the hatred of his supporters. This is who he is. Authoritarian zealots. They believe they know more and think they are the suburb who know more than anyone else.. they think if we do not support their ideas we must be ignorant. They think it's OK to force their believes by any means including violence because.. They're right.

This is their PURIST mentality. They're wrong. and I want no part of their false righteousness

The BS campaign was mostly positive until recently. Unfortunately, once the campaign really moves to the General Election, I see the Clinton campaign won't have much choice than to fight fire with fire. If tRump's primary campaign is any guide, it's going to get ugly fast.

How he votes and opposes very good ideas because they are NOT pure enough even if it would lead us to a better direction. No change is better than some change to Bernie, even if it sets progressives back. If you read about how Jane treated people at the college she managed.. The retaliation that occurred when people disagreed.. It's all signs of who they are.

Lot's of kids get yelled at. Lots of kids cry when they're yelled at. Do they all suffer "long term effects"? And, what are the effects?

Do they end up regarding it as something that wrecked their lives?

Do they find it an exciting incident?

Do they brag about it?

Children respond in different ways to all sorts of things. What the effects of any experience is on anyone is as varied as the people who experience them.

A child may be stung by a bee and be terrified of insects for the rest of his life. Or, maybe not.

A child may discover that he/she was adopted at any early age and never told until he/she is 7. He may be embittered for the rest of his/her life. Or, maybe not.

In this particular childs case, I have no idea of the response. Neither do you.

As for screaming obscenities at a child, or threatening one, for any reason, I'm against it.

I'm also against killing children. See Hillary's IWR vote for reference.

It has NOTHING to do with people telling other people that their protesting has gone too far. When Congress tries to stop BS cheerleaders from protesting, come get me, because I will not stand for that either. But until then, this is NOT a 1st Amendment issue.

Freedom of Speech does NOT mean Freedom from Consequences or Freedom from Criticism.

I have no problem with decrying other peoples protests as going too far. In fact, I think the one referred to did go too far.

But, Bernie was defending the right of the people to exercise their free speech, however distasteful, and their right to assemble.

What were the 'consequences" of the demonstration. Arrests? Convictions? Imprisonment?

I spent some time at demonstrations in the '60s and '70s and, yes, at times we did go "too far". At least in the eyes of the authorities.
