Another Brooklyn, NY Election Official Ousted over Botched Primary: 126,000 Dems Purged!

Another New York Election Official Ousted Over Botched Primary

Tom Cahill
May 5, 2016

Another head is rolling in the wake of highly suspect election procedures in Brooklyn during New York’s April 19 primary.

Betty Ann Canizio, who serves as deputy clerk for the Board of Elections in Brooklyn, was just suspended from her post without pay as the investigation and audit into the New York City Board of Elections continues.
WNYC reported that Canizio’s suspension will be made official at a meeting later this afternoon.

Previously, Diane Haslett-Rudiano, the chief clerk of elections in Brooklyn, was ousted in the wake of the primary debacle when it was discovered that approximately 126,000 Brooklyn Democrats were mysteriously purged from the voter rolls in the months leading up to the New York primary.

However, as a Republican, Haslett-Rudiano was only in charge of the Republican voter rolls in Brooklyn, while Canizio oversaw Democratic voter rolls. According to the New York Post, inside sources at the Board of Elections suspected Haslett-Rudiano was scapegoated for the voter purge in order to protect Canizio.

---------------

Hillary Clinton won Kings County, which houses Brooklyn, by just 57,909 votes. It’s entirely possible that Bernie Sanders, who was born and raised in Brooklyn, would have won Kings County had all 126,000 Democrats purged from the rolls been allowed to cast a ballot.

According to WNYC, Canizio is the protégé of Kings County Democratic Party Chair Frank Seddio. The New York Post reports that Seddio used his political connections to secure the Board of Elections job for Canizio, for which she is paid approximately $120,000 a year.

[font size=3]Although we may never know with complete certainty the identity of the winner of this year's New York Primary, the identity of the loser is perfectly clear. It is the rank & file Democratic Party members confidence in the DNC and Party Establishment as impartial guardians of our Democratic Primary Elections.

5. IF you assume the votes would have been split by the same % (60%:40%) Clinton:Sanders the result
Sat May 7, 2016, 05:03 PM
May 2016

... would be the same:

purged voters.............. 126000....New Vote Totals
Clinton_____ 174236 0.60 75556   249792
Sanders____ 116327 0.40 50444   166771
Total_______290563___  126000   416,563

(Note fractions above - .60 & .40 - are applied to the 126,000 purged votes to arrive at: 75,556 and 50,444 additional votes for each candidate.)

Bernie would have had to have won 73% of the 126,000 purged voters to Clinton getting only 27% of them to turn around the result for Kings County.

purged voters.............. 126000....New Vote Totals
Clinton_____ 174236 0.27 33968   208204
Sanders____ 116327 0.73 92032   208359
Total_______290563___  126000   416,563

(Note fractions above - .27 & .73 - are applied to the 126,000 purged votes to arrive at: 33,968 and 92,032 additional votes for each candidate.)

This is not to downplay the issue of making sure everybody's vote counts.

We don't want any Democrats not counted in the General Election as well as the Primary.

In any case, it doesn't matter. 120,000 were purged illegally, from all appearances, and possibly as part of a plan to affect the vote results.

If you haven't voted in the last four or so primaries you may get purged. It is one way to remove voters who have died, moved, or just been disinterested. It is a way to keep voter register up to date. It is the responsibility of a citizen voter to ensure that their voter registration is kept up to date...not the state or the Fed government.

In this case, it is highly unlikely that 100% of the 126, ooo Democrats "purged" from the rolls would have gone for Bernie.

My brother who was a democrat for life and HRC supporter was purged. Friends of mine who were for Hillary were purged.

So don't you dare tell me I don't know.

I saw it on election day as I canvassed for Hillary as prople from both sides told me they were purged.

And if you knew what you were talking about you would know they mapped out the purge.

Hillary strongholds were just as purged as Sanders areas.

Try knowing what you are talking about before you tell me what I do and don't know.

From that you can pretty well guess how the people in those areas will vote next time. No magic needed.
Then purge the voter lists in the areas that voted wrong.
