Everyone -- Democrats, Republicans, Independents -- have the same, clear choice in this election: do they take the most effective step to stop Trump's election. Or not.

I made my choice a long time ago -- I supported Bernie in the primaries. I have no problem with him staying in the race until the last primary is over. But then, if as is almost certain, Clinton has a majority of the pledged delegates, I think Bernie should step back, endorse Clinton and make it clear that the only responsible thing anyone can do is vote for Clinton in order to ensure Trump isn't elected.

He might be an OK President.....he might be the worst President in the history of the republic.

If Bernie loses, what I think that he will do is focus exclusively on why Trump should not be elected.
That way, he won't have to defend the differences between Hillary and himself. He will also focus
on why we can't afford another Republican Congress.

He will continue the revolution.

He will push for more military spending and he will look for ways to use it (to prove America is great).
He will continue to demonize Muslims and Latinos.
He will suck up to evangelicals (you think he's going to stop at having the White House say Merry Christmas)?
He will not support a woman's right to choose.
He will make reckless financial/economic decisions just as he has done in his business career.
HE will harm our standing in the world and be a destabilizing force.

The list goes on and on.

This isn't about a choice between Bernie and Trump. I agree that would be a better choice. But what my post was about -- and what your post was about -- is what to do when the choice is between Trump and Clinton.

And that isn't a difficult choice for anyone who wants to be able to say that they did took the most effective step they could to prevent a Trump presidency.

My point is that Bernie will have to do for Hillary what she cannot do for herself, should he lose to her.

He will have to take down Trump, and he will have to generate a Democratic majority in both houses of Congress.

If he loses the nomination, this is the perfect opportunity to build the revolution with an alternate national campaign designed to create a Democratic majority.

And no, adding that he might be the worst president ever doesn't change it. Anyone who suggests that he would be anything other than a complete disaster is an apologist for everything he has said and done during this campaign.

He is currently shattering the Republican Party. I have no idea what will be left when he is done.

I explained myself clearly.....I have no idea what kind of President he would be.

OK, pretty bad...worst ever...I literally have no idea.

It goes beyond even the idea of a good or bad Presidency. I have no conception of what his Presidency would be like. I can't even form an opinion about what he believes.

It is that fact...not knowing what he believes, that leaves me with no idea about how his Presidency will function.

There is also a serious trust factor with Clinton.

While they may not like everything that Trump says, they believe he is saying what he believes.

It is not just a matter of who will get out in places like Florida to vote for Hillary, it is the fact that only a candidate that organizes here will be able to overcome the obstacles that will lead whoever doe snot being beaten by cops with impunity to come out. Yes, that was a reference to Trayvon Martin, but I assure you, the papers are already proudly showcasing people who intend to intimidate white people too, with their guns in hand. Simply put, why the hell isn't Debbie focusing on Florida NOW, since Trump's main selling point is that he can take Florida back?

I live in Florida. Please post articles about people, guns in hand, threatening people concerning the way they vote.

Until you do I'm calling bullshit. If you provide supporting post I will happily apologize.

And bringing the Trevon Martin travesty into the Democratic primary makes no sense to me. But I will admit I may be missing something.

Have no fear. Once again Florida will vote for the Democratic Party candidate.

Who will be Hillary Clinton
