This actually isn't so surprising to people who've been paying attention to Georgia's demographics. Because of its increasing number of minority voters, it's on the way to becoming a swing state.

A new Landmark/RosettaStone poll has found that Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are in a statistical tie in Georgia, a state that has been a Republican stronghold in presidential elections for decades.
The poll, first reported by WSB-TV, shows that Trump, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, has a slight edge over Clinton, the Democratic front-runner, leading 42.3 to 41.4 percent, while 15.6 percent are undecided.
Georgia is in play, Arizona, there will be some surprises election night and NOT Trump being President.

(31,849 posts)Strange ... Fetterman seems to be a nature fit for Sanders' support and because of his current position (a popular Mayor of a largely Black community outside Pittsburgh) would seem to have been a far better surrogate/ambassador to the African-American community than Killer Mike/Dr. West.
Go figure.
