To All The Bernie Supporters

I want to apologize. I made a lot of over the top comments here on DU about his candidacy and his supporters over the last year. I don't really feel that way.

I wish you all the best of luck over the next month. If Bernie wins, I would gladly vote for him in November. Any comments about Hillary that got under my skin are just water under the bridge.

I know how many of you probably feel, I felt it in 2008. Even if Bernie loses, it will be OK. He brought a great deal of visibility to his platform, and I think that helps us all. If Bernie wins, it's because he earned it.

as well. To this day, I still think that Hillary got a raw deal from the party and the press that year.

I know how genuinely disappointed people feel when their candidate gets very close, and then the press pivots away at the finish. Hillary won 9 of the final 12 races that year, and she was written off as if none of it mattered.

So good luck in the final races. I definitely think that Sanders will have some wins and maybe some upsets as well.

But one of the lessons I learned in 2008 is that it's about the math more than the message. Obama taught that lesson to Hillary in 2008. She learned from it. It may well be a bitter lesson that Sanders learns as well.

Deanics vs. Clarkies, Lieberdweeb/Joementum. Ha! Helping campaign in NH, on CNN. Ya ain't got nothing on me. Very first and very last time I fell in love with a candidate.
