(24,411 posts)Would you say that was a smart choice or a bad choice?
I think Rush Limbaugh would say that was a damn fine choice!

(9,086 posts)You should check some of these head to head match up polls.
Sanders actually does significantly better against Trump than Clinton does. Especially in key battleground states.

(24,411 posts)and then blame Bernie supporters for Clinton's heinous actions. Blame Bernie supporters for the fallout too.
Sounds like a mentally-balanced and sane approach.

(13,877 posts)That one is old and silly...even with the all caps and spaces and, wow, 6 exclamation points.
But you may be right after all. Lots of stuff in or missing in the emails. Problem is, those wiped emails had Lots of ccs that couldn't be deleted.
We'll see. Just keep the story alive. Thanks.

(17,148 posts)mastered the voter suppression game will really go for Hillary?
Seems like wishful thinking to me.

(45,251 posts)I will always believe that the Clinton scandals had more to do with the 2000 election than Nader or Bush. The first time I saw Dimson announce was on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, where he promised to bring dignity back to the Oval Office. People don't want to live through that crap again. Plus, Trump's whole appeal has been that he is anti-establishment and not accepting donations. Hillary is not going to be able to fight him on either one of his strong suits. Bernie can fight him on both.

(3,457 posts)Didn't Bill have record high approval at the end of his term?
After his impeachment proceedings in 1998 and 1999, Clinton's rating reached its highest point at 73% approval.[3] He finished with a Gallup poll approval rating of 65%,[4] higher than that of every other departing president measured since Harry Truman.[5]

(98,883 posts)in all three states support voter ID, which implies to me that more republicans were sampled. In addition, there is no indication for example, the percent of Sanders' supporters who said they would vote for Trump over Hillary.
Here is what is known, and why I question the sampling:
The overall popular vote has Hillary up + 2.2 Million over Trump, and 3.1 Million over Sanders

(98,883 posts)Most Sanders supporters say one of four things: they will vote for the Democratic nominee, they will not vote for President, they will write Bernie in, or they will vote for Jill Stein.
In all cases though, not good for Hillary.

(98,883 posts)something doesn't match up in the Quinnipiac sampling, and Hillary won Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania by large margins over Bernie
KPN
(17,148 posts)Bernie would be much closer, possibly leading her, were it not for caucuses, closed primaries and vote suppression shenanigans of Hillary campaign, DNC and Repugs. After the next 9 primaries, he would be.
Sorry to upset you rose colored view.

(53,385 posts)but Bernie is obviously not going to be the nominee.

(17,148 posts)That's why it's so urgent to elect someone like Bernie right now. The other options will be catastrophically bad. We need to corral global warming via corralling corporate take over and corrupt governance right now. Twenty years from now will be too late for many people on earth.

(11,504 posts)Bernie has better numbers because he can count on Hillary supporters who know that defeating the GOP is way more important than one's preferred candidate. Once Sanders supporters come around, those numbers will look better.
