Independents outnumber democrats and republicans. People who dismiss these facts will be shocked on November 2. They will have no one to blame but themselves.

He's been drawing big crowds to his rallies for months.

It hasn't converted into votes and he's
losing badly in spite of the well attended rallies.

There's really not much more for the media to
say about this.
