(12,958 posts)Probably because the primary isn't over and Hillary does not have enough delegates to win the nomination.

(11,175 posts)You say the primary has been over for weeks. My calendar says that the primary in my state is in June. When I amble over to the local elementary school to vote for Bernie, will I be met by a phalanx of Clinton supporters, in full riot gear, preventing my quixotic attempt to vote? I don't think so. I think I'll be able to vote.
Meanwhile, I'm getting really tired of this insinuation by Clinton supporters that for me to want to cast my vote is somehow impeding the effort to defeat Trump. Whatever you plan to do, under the rubric of turning to the general and defeating Trump, you can do. You can do it right now. Go register voters, go phone bank, go volunteer to do oppo research on Trump (not that much of that is likely to be needed), post on DU about how wonderful Clinton is and how vile Trump is, etc. If the primary has indeed been over for weeks, then you might as well trash GD-P, because the (now-concluded) primary is the only topic of discussion here.

(65,173 posts)Remember, Clinton supporters, anything can happen in politics. It's good Bernie is staying in with a positive message. He doesn't need to give Trump more ammo if it is Clinton.
