We lost one........

and I don't understand his logic.

He voted early and is a Dem, but my mouth fell open when he said he didn't vote for president because of what Obama has done to the economy.

This man is intelligent, normally very with it when it comes to politics and has always been a strong Democrat. But according to him Obama has been extremely ineffective when it comes to the economy and the rising debt.

I am speechless.

Be that intelligent if he can't see through Romney's lies and really believes Obama created this economic mess.

I did say that I was disappointed and couldn't understand the logic - after calling him a bloody idiot and asking how anyone with his intelligence could do something like that.

wanted to pass, including his Jobs Bill that would've put millions back to work? He should know that no president can get much done without the help of Congress.

like he just wants an excuse to not vote for the black guy. Whenever people start saying these broad but shallow things like "he ruined the economy" or "he's a socialist", that's usually a strong indicator that the person has no idea what the fuck they're talking about and is just a closeted bigot.

Or, maybe, he's just really, really stupid. Either way, he doesn't sound like someone worth spending time with.

Dem my ass. A true democrat could never conceive of voting for a rethug. Ever. Period.

I want to know what his real reason for going over to the dark side is. The debt meme is something that people throw out when they really want to to have the Federal government tell them they never have to pay taxes again. To the feds, to the states to the local taxing authorities. They believe in their mean spirited and stupid little minds that everyone will get along fine on dirt roads, and they'll be able to assemble a few neighbors to man the bucket brigade when their house or their barn or their field goes up in flames.

Show me a person who might have voted for Obama last time and is switching his vote now and I'll show you someone who wasn't comfortable with voting for a black man back in 2008 but thought he represented the lesser of two evils then (because everyone was weeping with Bush fatigue and scared shitless of Palin potentially a heartbeat away from the Presidency. This time, they have two white, Norhern European males of a decent age who can walk upright and for those peple with well-hidden biggot tendencies, those guys will suffice just fine as the POTUS and Veep of the U.S. Throw in a little misogyny and you've got your answer as to why a white male who purportedly has called himself a democrat in the past would cast a ballot for these assclowns. I guess he spends most of his time under a rock somewhere - without a television, radio or a newspaper, to boot - because if a person who is seeing what's going on now on the East Coast and can't summon up enough gumption to realize that the US government is going to have dig in and help these folks out for the next couple of years to clean this crap up and the rethugs haven't given any indication that they're interested in making the place habitable to the residents of the states. In fact, they're high-fiving each other because they see a potential loss of 2- 3 million votes coming right out of the Dems pockets now because people won't be able or interested in mustering up enough energy to get to the polls - assuming there are polls to actually get to anyway.

Someone who genuinely believes in the ideals of our party could never vote for a guy like Romney.
