Is he sick and tired of reading all of the disinformation in the press? There have been a few articles lately that quote anonymous sources, suggesting that the FBI has found "scant" or "no" evidence against Clinton.

These sources have been cited as "US officials" and "the people". Ridiculous.

These sources are people discussing details of the case--when they shouldn't be. The FBI would never leak in the middle of an investigation. So, someone not in the FBI, is shooting off their mouth. I bet that pisses off Comey. When Josh Earnest made a benign comment about the case, Loretta Lynch immediately went public and said the White House should not be commenting.

I posted yesterday about the "drip, drip, drip" of Clinton email stories and how bizarre it is.

The media often helps Clinton. We all know that. She's in the middle of an election, and she wants to control the messaging. It would not be surprising to find out that these anonymous sources are "Clinton friendlies" at the State Department who are helping her spin this positively. Repeatedly suggesting, in various articles, that "scant", "little" or "no" evidence has been found is someone shooting their mouth off when they shouldn't. I bet Comey doesn't appreciate that. Just like Lynch.

Maybe he's pulling a "Lynch" and will send the message to STFU.
