The door is open to an asshole, like Donald Trump, because the democrats haven't done enough

Jon Stewart:

If you can do an Executive Order to kill an American citizen from above with a missile, how can you not do an Executive Order to re-evaluate the DOD and the VA systems so that you don't spend a billion dollars trying to get two computer programs to talk to each other when probably three of these idiots could do it for $500? It doesn't wash. And at some level, and I'll lay the blame then with the democrats. The door is open to an asshole, like Donald Trump, because the democrats haven't done enough to show to people that government, that can be effective for people, can be efficient for people, and if you can't do that, then you've lost the right to make that change and someone's going to come in and demagogue you...

advocate of traditional Democratic values comes along, like Bernie Sanders, they've got to shit all over him for this reason or that.

Look, the more Democrats chase the Republicans, on their Ronald Reagan/Grover Norquist flights of fantasy, the more the Center drifts to the Right, and the more the Republicans become enabled to go batshit crazy.

That's a reality that is clear to see, if you only look at history.

Well, that's what we keep doing again, even now, as Hillary reaches out to the Right of her not the Left in order to do what she thinks she has to do to win the election.

Meanwhile, Trump will actually run to the Left of her on some issues, because he knows the meaning of that, he knows the value of it, and yes, he will find appeal with Populist/Progressive views that are shown through polls to be generally appealing to the American people.

Democrats, how about we embrace our common heritage and quit enabling the other side by going Republican light.

That we have gotten to this point where a neo con, Nazi and dominionist are this close to the WH, is a symptom of a weakened democracy. The corrupted system has morphed into another that has closed itself off to the voice of the people.

And we cannot change the system using the rules that they have drawn up to protect themselves. We are going to have to challenge the system from the outside of it, thus risk becoming profiled by them. This is what is happening to Bernie, because he is actually the BEST hope we have now because he knows how to change this system and tweak it from the inside, which would be the most peaceful and artful way. And the PTB know he can do it.

We just need to get rid of Hillary "Vidkun Quisling" Clinton and all of her good-for-nothing support.
