Bernie Sanders Only Cares About Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders Only Cares About Bernie Sanders
MSN news Jon Reinish

Each election has what become its accepted narratives: themes that, over time, gel into what are considered reliable facts that are no longer vetted or questioned. As the Democratic campaign finally wraps up, it’s time to put two persistent ones to bed: Hillary Clinton is unpopular and limping to a finish, and Bernie Sanders is a progressive from way outside the system.

Neither could be farther from the truth.

I'm beginning to believe that Sanders is less the bumbling-but-lovable-uncle and more a Trumpesque con artist.

There hasnt been a DU poll in a while but earlier polls had Clinton at about 10% support here at DU. I know it often sounds like there are far more of 'em but it's cuz they are just that darn vocal!

The author of this hit piece, John Reinish, is an employee of SKDKnickerbocker, a PR firm recently acquired by the private equity firm owned by Hillary's pal, the odious Mark Penn. http://www.skdknick.com/staff/jon-reinish/ and http://www.cnn.com/2015/10/08/politics/mark-penn-skdknickerbocker-hillary-bill-clinton/

I'm sure he was paid handsomely.

Guess which "high-profile Democratic candidate" he's working for now.

This is not a legit editorial -- it's a "strategic communication."

Jon Reinish comes to SKDKnickerbocker with over a decade’s worth of strategic communications and media experience in the political and public affairs realms. Jon’s work includes advising Fortune 50 corporations; providing strategic counsel to high-profile Democratic candidates, elected officials and party leaders on the local and national level;

A. Well, newsflash, she actually does have it sewn up by now.

B. With each passing day, while Ms. Clinton is miles ahead in the metrics that matter, she still needs to deal with a mosquito buzzing persistently in her ear that just won’t go away. She still needs to compete with Mr. Sanders, far after she should have to.

C. She’s now announced she’s advertising in Kentucky

So if A is true why is she doing B & C? This piece is the worst written piece I've seen lately. It makes zero sense but thanks for posting it because it was very amusing to read. And I really liked this part.

Disclosure: Donald Trump is the father-in-law of Jared Kushner, the publisher of Observer Media.

I'm sure the Donald would be pleased as punch to see a Hillary supporter linking to this.

The silly narrative that Bernie is only in it for himself.

Classic case of projection from the I,I,I campaign.

We can't easily see who is cashing in on their Senate career and it isn't Bernie.

Bernie Sanders has a long term, impeccable record regarding fighting for others.

So attack him for being in it for himself? For being selfish?

This is to be expected, but just a little surprising on DU. Well, maybe not anymore.
